DUSO's SAUCES

Duso's Tomato based pasta sauces are excellent in any combination.  We would like to recommend using Duso's Cream sauces, such as Wild Mushroom or Red Pepper Cream, on flat pasta.  This allows the full flavour of the sauce to be enjoyed for an ultimate dining experience.

Our sauces are great on pasta, but may we also suggest:

• Tomato Pesto, Arrabiatta or Pesto sauce, as a pizza sauce,
• Italian Plum Tomato or Sweet Pepper & Mushroom, as a Chicken Cacciatore Sauce,
• Alfredo Sauce, on any number of steamed vegetables,
• Italian Plum Tomato sauce over sauteed spicy Italian Sausages or ground beef , served over pasta, polenta or rice.

Tomato Cream Sauce

Everyone will love this combination of Chunky Tomatoes, Cream and Spices.  A versatile sauce that can be served with any of your favourite Duso's Pastas.  For something new, add water, bouillon and Cheese Raviolini to make a delicious soup.  Great for the kid in us all!

Alfredo Cream

 A tradition sauce that makes your mouth water.  This classic combination of Milk, Cream and Parmigiano Cheese with a touch of White Wine will keep your guests very pleased.  Best served with your Favourite Duso's Flat pasta.

Pesto

This classic sauce is a smooth blend of fresh basil, parsley and spinach.  With the perfect mixture of pine nuts, garlic and a small tang of lemon juice, it will be enjoyed by the whole family.  Great when served with Duso's Flat or Cheese Filled Pastas.   Alternatively, try this classic with your favourite pizza recipe. Italian Plum Tomato Sauce

 A classic sauce that no kitchen should be without. Chunks of Tomatoes combined with traditional Italian Spices.  This sauce can be served with any of your favourite Duso's products.  Alternatively, try as a pizza sauce or serve atop of chicken & rice.

Red Pepper Cream Sauce

If you like Alfredo Sauce and Red Peppers, you'll love this Sauce.  A smooth blend of Milk & Cream with chunks of Red Peppers.  A touch of chilies makes this sauce everyone's favourite.  Best served in combination with your favourite Duso Flat Pasta.

Tomato & Pesto Sauce

 A tasty combination of Italian Plum Sauce and everyone's favorite, Pesto Sauce.  Chunky tomatoes and fresh basil and garlic make this sauce a mouth watering delight.  This sauce can be served with any of your favorite Duso's Pastas. (Please note this sauce contains nuts)

Sweet Pepper & Mushroom Sauce

Made with fresh Yellow & Red Peppers and Button Mushrooms, this sauce is sweet and chunky!  Use with any of your favourite Duso's pasta.  Alternatively, use in your favorite casserole recipe.

Wild Mushroom Sauce

A superb blend of Shiitake and Portobello Mushrooms in a Cream base.  To take full advantage of this flavour, this is best served with your favorite Duso's Flat pasta.

Arrabiatta Sauce

Great for those who like a little heat!  A tradition Italian Plum Tomato Sauce with a twist, hot chilies.  Great in combination with your favorite Duso Filled Pasta.  Alternatively, try it as a base for pizza.

Bruschetta Topping

A traditional Neapolitan topping for toasted crusty bread slices. Made from fresh chopped tomatoes, parsley, lemon juice, canola oil, salt, pepper and loads of garlic! Try it as a appetizer or as hors d'oeuvres, or even as a flat pasta sauce: it will make you famous with your guests.

Caesar Dressing

A garlic lovers delight!  A perfect blend of Mayonnaise, garlic and anchovies will titillate your taste buds to ask for more.  Excellent on salad or as a dipping sauce for vegetables & chicken wings.
